When you see a simple magic trick performed for the first time it is natural to be impressed. But when the trick has been explained, and you understand what has gone on and why, then you wonder why on Planet Jed you fell for it.
The world's biggest medical and psychological experiment - and we pay the price!
Control yourself or be controlled
In March, the leaders of our nation decided to engage in psychological tactics to maximise control and maintain a state of emergency through fear mongering and media propaganda. Images of patients on ventilators and the prospect of ambulances turned away from overwhelmed hospitals, the general public succumbed to fear of a virus that is actually little more fatal than the seasonal influenza.
Through disproportionate measures and brainwashing tactics, mass hysteria was induced to maximise control and maintain a state of emergency, with people helplessly depending on the state for survival. Daily Covid-19 death tolls were presented in live prime minister’s broadcasts, without the context that around 1200 people die of all causes every day in the UK.
In April, the Health Secretary, Matt Hancock, told us by disobeying the measures and guidelines we were risking our own lives and the lives of others. He shamed the “small minority” of the public who were not towing the line, addressing dissenters as if they were naughty children who were “breaking rules and pushing the boundaries.”
A meeting was held with SAGE (Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies), and the paper, ‘Options For Increasing Adherence to Social Distancing Measures’ was prepared.
The document, published in May, identified that ‘social disapproval for failure to comply’ could be a ‘highly practical’ way to rapidly increase social distancing.
The media campaign to ‘increase a sense of responsibility to others’ and shame those who were being ‘selfish’ by not being obedient citizens, then followed. Stating that ‘the perceived level of personal threat needs to be increased among those who are complacent,’
News outlets picked it up and passed it on. Social media exploded with vitriol and scorn.
People took the bait, got judgemental and fell out with their friends.
Loneliness and isolation became a common feature of many people’s lives, as we grew more distant and divided, leaving some still terrified and darting off the pavement to avoid each other.
We have been pushed, pulled and pitted against each other in a sea of misinformation and confusion. Anyone who dares question the official narrative is silenced and ridiculed.
People have lost their jobs for having opinions and being outspoken. Censorship is at an all-time high, leaving concerned citizens asking whether we are heading towards a future where freedom of speech is a crime.
Freedom of expression is NOT a crime
Are you made to feel like an outsider for criticising the official narrative?
Join social networks with fellow sceptics and attend rallies to show you are one of many.
Do you fear being associated with conspiracy theorists?
Refer to reputable scientists and information sources
(you don’t need to defend anyone but yourself).
Do you worry that your scepticism could cause social rejection or harm your career?
Remind others of the need for reasoned debate, and that there is no absolute truth or consensus on responding to Covid-19.
Are you made to feel selfish or reckless for not complying with the Covid agenda?
It is not selfish to maintain social contact whenever possible, while basic human rights are being denied.
Do you worry about being seen as a danger to others, potentially spreading germs that could kill a vulnerable person?
Other peoples health is not your responsibility. Every winter we are at risk of catching or spreading a cold or the ‘flu.
Have you felt criminalised?
Be aware of your rights (e.g. not to wear a mask); if you are apprehended, do not accept a caution or pay a fine as many Covid-19 rules are legally dubious.
